Ooty is one of the most amazing hill station of South India, situated in Tamil Nadu. It is also known as Udhagai or Udhagamandalam, located on the foothill of Nilgiri, on the height of about 2,240 meter above sea level. It is one of the most picturesque place renown for tea and coffee plantation.Apart from this you will also explore Coimbatore, it is the second largest city of Tamil Nadu which is also known as Kovai, located on the banks of Noyyal River and the town is surrounded by the Western Ghats. Itinerary
Day 1 : Coimbatore Sightseeing
Upon arrival at Coimbatore airport, meet our representative, after welcome proceed to the hotel. Coimbatore is second largest city of Tamil Nadu which is also known asKovai, located on the banks of NoyyalRiver and the town is surrounded by the Western Ghats.
Check-in at the hotel. Relax for a while. Later in the day proceed to a sightseeing tour of Coimbatore. The major tourist attractions of Coimbatore include KovaiKutralam Falls, Vydehi Falls, Sirvani Fall and Dam, AnubhaviSubramaniar temple, Ayappan temple, Perur Siva Temple and the Marudhamalai hill temple. In the evening return to the hotel for dinner and overnight stay.
Day 2 : Coimbatore - Kodaikanal(By Road - 172 kms)Sightseeing
After breakfast, proceed to Coimbatore Golf Club for an enjoyable game of golf. After the game,you head towards Kodaikanal. It is also known as the princess of the hill in southern part of India. This spectacular hill station is located in Tamil Nadu, on the foothill of upper Palani Hills at the height of about 2,133 metres. The Palani hills roll outwards towards green vistas dotted with lakes.
After arrival in Kodaikanal, check in at the hotel. After freshen up, proceed for the boating/fishing at the Kodaikanal Lake apart from this you will cover some other major attractions such as Silver Cascade Falls, Bear Shola Falls, Golf Links, Pillar Rocks and Green Valley View. After sightseeing, return back to the hotel for overnight stay.
Day 3 : Kodaikanal - Ooty(By Road - 260 Kilometres)Sightseeing
Today morning enjoy golf game at the Kodaikanal golf club. Then enjoy breakfast at the hotel. After breakfast, drive to Ooty. Ooty is one of the most amazing hill station of South India, situated in Tamil Nadu. It is also known as Udhagai or Udhagamandalam, located on the foothill of Nilgiri, on the height of about 2,240 meter above sea level. It is one of the most picturesque place renown for tea and coffee plantation.
On reaching Ooty, check-in at your pre booked hotelsAfter resting for a while in your hotel room, proceed to a sightseeing tour of Ooty. The major tourist attractions of Ooty include Botanical Gardens, Rose Garden, Doddabetta Peak, Pykara Lake and the Glenmorgan Tea estates. Stay the night at the hotel.
Day 4 : Ooty
After breakfast, proceed to explore the Kalhatty waterfalls. This is a popular spot for picnic and trekking. After visiting the waterfall, head to visit Ketti Valley view. This valley is the second largest valley in the world. In the evening return to hotel for dinner and overnight stay.
Day 5 : Ooty
Today after breakfast, enjoy the game of Golf at the Ooty Golf Club. Rest of the day at leisure. In the evening enjoy the dinner and overnight stay at the hotel.
Day 6 : Ooty - Coimbatore (By Road - 84 Kilometres)
